If you love a great before-and-after—or you’re starting to imagine what’s possible in your own home—come see Kuster Homes & Remodeling during the Olympia Master Builders 26th Annual Tour of Homes, September 19–20, 2026!
This FREE community event is your opportunity to step inside some of the South Sound’s most inspiring homes, see exceptional craftsmanship firsthand, and meet the builders, remodelers, designers, and industry professionals behind the projects.
This year, we’re especially excited to share a whole-home transformation completed by Kuster Homes & Remodeling in collaboration with Maple + Marble.
Warmth, function, and thoughtful storage are at the heart of this transformation.
Kuster Homes led the remodel, bringing more functionality, flow, and personality to the home, while Maple + Marble designed and supplied cabinetry throughout the project.
The transformation begins in the kitchen, where a dated cottage-style space was reimagined with Bellmont cabinetry, new countertops, expanded hardwood flooring, increased storage, and a beautiful wood-slat feature wall that creates definition between the kitchen and living area.
An angled built-in pantry was removed and replaced with matching cabinetry, creating a much more functional storage solution without sacrificing the cohesive look of the kitchen.
A folding exterior door helps connect the interior with the outdoors and opens the home to beautiful views.
The transformation continues into the primary suite, where thoughtful design created a more comfortable and functional retreat.
The new space features a natural maple vanity, tiled walk-in shower, freestanding tub, and custom closet. Materials and finishes flow naturally from one space to another, helping give the entire home a fresh and cohesive feel.
Even the powder room gets its moment, with a playful blue-and-gold Jeffrey Alexander vanity that proves smaller spaces can be a great place to add personality.
One of our favorite parts of remodeling is discovering opportunities within a home that may have been overlooked.
In this project, removing a wall and adding custom stair and loft railings transformed an underused bedroom into a comfortable loft. The result is a home that feels more open, connected, and suited to everyday living.
It’s a great example of how remodeling isn’t always about adding more square footage. Sometimes it’s about making the space you already have work better.
Photos are great, but there’s nothing quite like walking through a completed remodel and experiencing the details firsthand.
If you’re considering a kitchen remodel, bathroom renovation, primary suite, whole-home remodel, or simply want to make your existing home function better, we hope you’ll stop by.
Come see the craftsmanship, cabinetry, storage solutions, finishes, flooring, and creative use of space—and bring your remodeling questions!
